The main selected priority of the project is the fulfillment of environmental and climate goals; our objectives are closely linked with the priority. The mission is to teach students to understand climate change to make changes in students' attitude toward the environment, to take the initiative and to act responsibly in their local environment. |
Implementing the project activities, one of the RESULTS will be the development of cross-curricular teaching. For that purpose, we plan to expand a range of curriculum climate change resources, multilingual resources on the topic, cultural resources. Students will be initiators, and they will carry out the activities. They will actively take part in the awareness campaign and work with younger students, prepare short plays for them, presentations.
About all the events, the public will be able to read about in ECO-NEWSLETTER that will be published on schools' webpages. Eco newsletters will be a collaborative work of students from all the schools included in the project. Students will prepare a situational survey that will gather evidence on the current state of using plastic in school and their homes. After processing the data, students will write an action plan for the school and the local community. Another survey will be conducted after a year of implementation of the action plan and conducting several awareness campaigns. The entire school and local community will know about those actions. They will receive regular updates on our web page and through other channels, like parent meetings, local radio and newspaper,... Activities will result in collaboration with other schools nationally and internationally to disseminate good examples and encourage them to take action and increase the positive impact. |
